Do you have examples of how Front Runner Physiotherapy can save me money?Absolutely! When looking at the explanation of benefits (EOB) for 1 session of physical therapy. A traditional physical therapy session bill averages around $300-$400! Sadly these bills can be sent weeks or months after physical services have been rendered. If you have not met your deductible, then you are responsible for all medical bills until you have met that threshold. Say the deducible has been met, many times individuals have a co-insurance of 20% in addition to their co-pay. With that co-insurance patients are responsible for $60-$80 on top of a $30-$50 co-pay. Let's be honest now, are many physical therapy clinics in this our area providing true 1-on-1 service, or are patients spending 15-20 minutes with the therapist then being passed to the assistant or technician for the remainder of their session? At Front Runner Physiotherapy, patients know their costs upfront (never a surprise bill) and every session is 1-on-1 with their physical therapist, giving them faster results, streamlined care, better outcomes, and saving them time and money! Here's the breakdown 12 visits of standard rehabilitation Deductible ($5,000) not met so patient responsibility of $300-$400 is $3,600 to $4,800 If the deducible is met but has 20% co-insurance ($60-$80) + co-pay ($40) then 12 visits range from $1200 to $1,440 The Front Runner Difference! Because patients spend a full hour with the therapist, we tend to find we need less number of sessions to achieve the same results. Our 6 rate session package is $770 being cheaper in the long run and saving patients the headache of having surprise bills after they have completed their sessions. At the end of the day, it is about saving time, money, and getting patients to reach their goals faster!

Do I need a referral for Physical Therapy? No! Pennsylvania is a direct access state and Front Runner Physiotherapy is a direct access provider. This means that you may be seen without a referral from a physician.

Does Front Runner Physiotherapy take my insurance?Front Runner Physiotherapy is not contractually partnered with insurance companies. We want to flip the script on healthcare and deliver a service and level of care that is unparalleled in this area. We believe in breaking the mold of insurance companies telling providers we must play by their rules. Their rules has turned our healthcare into a complex system and causes frustration for not just patients but also providers. You still can use your insurance for reimbursement but because we are not contractually partnered with your insurance we are not playing by their rules. We are in the business of getting you to achieve your goals and improve your long-term health not having them contractually tell us how to treat you or get you to a level they deem acceptable.

Does Front Runner Physiotherapy submit the claims to my insurance on my behalf? We do not. We are more than happy to show you how to do this step! As the old proverb goes, "if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime." We believe that the landscape of healthcare is changing and we believe that helping you navigate this ever-changing landscape is important. Our goal is to equip you with the tools and knowledge on submitting these claims not just for rehabilitation but to have carry over for other medical services/providers as well! High quality care should not be limited to the rules and regulations of your insurance company, especially in a time of increased denials and record profit quarters. Many times we see that our patients can receive 50-80% reimbursement by submitting these claims.
